    Uncle Jim Moved To Montana...

    ...in January of '61. He staid Eleven days.
    Appx 14x16 at 300 ppi. Oils 3 layers. Guess this is part of a series.

    I love the way the reeds growing in the background reflect the image of the detailed whiskers on his face.

    Excellent painting and I really like the palette you chose for this one
    Try to see as many angles of vision as possible...no single one of us has a "handle" on the whole picture.
