    Diamond Peak Sunrise

Diamond Peak is a mountain near me and the sunrises this past week with clear sky and cold ( 9 degrees F ) the early sunrise colors really captured my imagination as I drove to work... wondering how someone could capture all the delicate gradations of blue, gray, yellow and pinks... so this was the inspiration for this piece. Hope you enjoy it.

Beautiful painting...wish I could see the sunrise U saw !!!
Try to see as many angles of vision as possible...no single one of us has a "handle" on the whole picture.

GXH -- Not sure if I can adjust to this radical departure into realism!

Al and Tony.... LOL....I know I am not sure what has gotten into me . this wild diversion into realism and calm....but never fear I am sure to veer back into wild abstractionism soon....

Gary! This is one of my very favs to be sure. As an abstract it evokes a definite mood and feeling of familiarity. Most excellent!

This is one of Your best. So much added by what seems an open view on a marvellous sky!
