    Snow Globe - WITH UPDATES

I started tinkering with this concept last year, but other things took over. So, I'm back playing with this image. It is a WIP, not a finished piece. 5 layers. Oils on Canvas. Tho I've used refs, it is from scratch. Orig.Working size is appx 4800x5400 pxl at 300 ppi resolution. I'm not sure whether I should keep it loose, or take it up a notch for tighter graphics and crisper edges.

You already got a wonderful festive composition, dear Skylar. I can hardly imagine therefore how amazing it would look once finished.

Beautiful Skylar (as usual)...but just curious...why do you use such large canvases?
Try to see as many angles of vision as possible...no single one of us has a "handle" on the whole picture.

Jean, Sandy, Caesar, Geoff, Screen, Semd, Coops - Thanks so much for commenting!
Semd - I think I work large from habit. With a larger format, one can go in much smaller, and produce more detail, I think.

Skylar, a beautiful finish , but the edges of the globe appear to me to be to hard and in MHO they would look great if softened
