Paint Roller pressure settings are backwards

I don't know if anyone has noticed this but when you increase the pressure of the paint roller the strokes are lighter and the paint pickes up more of the canvas texture and when you decrease the pressure the strokes are darker and less of the canvas texture is picked up. I think you guys just accidentally inverted the pressure settings because I would think that less pressure would cause lighter strokes and a greater amount of texture to show on the canvas.

When you press down harder with a real world paint roller, you will tend to see more of the underlying canvas because the paint on the roller is basically flattened out by the pressure rather than laid on thickly. This is part of our simulation of real media and is intentional.

If you want thicker paint, then definitely reducing the pressure value is the way to go, which avoids the roller being pushed as firmly against the surface.
