Hi colin, welcome to the forums. I'm not 100% sure what you're doing there, could you please let us know:

-What version of ArtRage you're using
-What make and model of tablet you're using ( if you're using one )
    -What operating system you're using
-What you mean by drawing around a glass in as much detail as possible. Do you mean you placed a physical glass on your tablet, then drew around it with the pen or something else?

If I'm correct with the last item, this would tend to indicate that the aspect of your tablet doesn't match the aspect of your screen, so things will be a little stretched in one direction, or that you have a problem with your tablet mapping. Let me know the details above though and I can advise further.

Moving this to the technical support forum.

Colin I received my intuos 4 small yesterday and had the same problem trying to draw a circle. I have a dual monitor setup so all I did was set the pen to monitor one, then ticked force proportions I now have a circle.

This sounds like the best solution to me. This isn't something you can change in ArtRage, it will be in your actual tablet software. On Windows it should be in the control panel. On OS X they should be in the settings panel. Make sure you've installed your tablet software so that you have these options. If this doesn't help I'd recommend contacting Wacom support as they'll be able to give more in depth advice for tablet problems.

Thank you Dave, I didn't make it clear that this is done in the wacom setup panel.
