    Katie... some nice work on this one. the texture and colors of her skirt are excellent and I like the semi-abstract quality of the background and kelp streamers. the little touches like the Koi and air bubbles are great enhancements... I do like this one!

    Coops, I gotta say, I feel like you've come into whole new level with these recent "color" themed paintings ( like the forest one with the two kids, or the kissing kids). They're just wonderful. They have a mythic quality to them. I like how you simplified the people to a kind of "essence", and then it's the setting, and how it relates to those people, that really brings the painting to life. Or atleast that's been my experience.

    What are you using for your people? Reference photos? Are you using Artrages tracing tool? Or just completely from your mind? I'd love to hear a bit of your process.
