    w.i.p - AR rookie

    Hello All,

This is my first serious work in AR. I'm trying to capture a night scene in a fairy-tale style forest, or something like that. this is what I got so far, but I'm having a rough time trying to get it to be darker while keeping the moonlit (is that the correct term?) spots. please ignore the grammar and spelling mistakes, English is not my native language.

thanks for you time and critique

    Dori

I looked at the painting and thought "scary". Don't want to be in those woods after dark.

    back in track

    Hello All!

after a rather hectic few months, I re-discovered artrage and took some time to work on a new project - I'm thinking of a children's book - so here is something from this project, and I would like to get some critique from you guys on how to improve my work. still getting used to ver.2.5...

    thanks !

Those first trees are just fantastic!
Like the second one too, but blown away by the first one.

Dori! Say hi to Ori and Nori for me. . . and Owen and Glowen, and Fili and Kili, Bifur, Bofur, Bombur and of course Thorin Oakenshield himself. (Dwarves from The Hobbit)

I think those first trees are wonderfully done.

The second is cool too. I like the homes in the trees. Bet it caused quite a stir among the Elves though when the Dwarves moved in.
