    Dog portraits on iPad

As the dog nerd I am I know I will paint a lot of dog portraits in ArtRage, so from now on I will keep them in an own thread. I'm still learning, but this is so fun so I canī't help sharing.
This painting I was busy with several hours and then the iPad crashed so everything was lost ... so now I have learned to save.

Hard to find a better iPAD painting than this one. Very luminous and sunny!

I also like the strong shadow and sunlight through the window. You have that balance between making it looking realistic but at the same time still very much a painting. Very nice - thank you for sharing.

I'm not an iPad user but I did notice the following thread in another section which might be of some help:
Good planets are hard to find - help look after ours.

Your dog portraits are AWESOME!!! I'm myself a "dog-person" as well , having too dogs. I should try to portrait them as well. But I don't have that lightness I see in your painting. Have to master that

Thanx Caesar for your kind words, wish there was a special iPad gallery here.

Thanx Jono, your words make me very happy, that it looks like a painting even if it's very realistic. I try to relate rather freely to my photographic reference - a difficult balance.

Thanx also for the link to the 'crashing thread', it was indeed interesting reading!
