I was walking my dog along the beach after a bit of a storm, and ran across this little vignette. I snapped a few pix, and finally got around to painting it. In style of impressionistic oils on canvas. 3 layers, 200 ppi.

Skylar... what a wonderful little vignette of storm debris arranged in such great colors and patterns... One of the reasons I love going to the beach is to see such natural "artfulness".... this a a great depiction love the style and freshness of it..I would happily put this on my wall and love seeing it every day.![]()
A great rememberance of a wonderful sighting of natures painting Skylar![]()
Lovely colours handed to you, Skylar - you grabbed them, and showed them to us. Thanks.![]()

ah, what a beauty Skylar. magnificent piece. love the color palette and the title and everything about it. great style and great piece. I love it when the artist takes the photo because they can see the future composition in their mind's eye and how it will translate to art. so much better than trying to paint from a reference that is flawed as art. you had the vision here and followed through on it. beautiful.
Well done, love the colours that you have used.
