Request: Setting a particular colour to transparent

    Hiya...

A need I have when I bring in a reference pic is to be able to set a particular colour to tranparent, the way you would with a transparent gif.

    Kinda like a 'bluescreen mode'.

Here's an example... Say I've designed something in CorelDraw, and want to bring it in so that what's white in the scamp is transparent in ArtRage.

Currently, I have to actually use the eraser tool to remove the white bits. (This is an artefact from the fact that I'm using a hack to create a layer.... I'm converting trace image to paint, and so it sees the white as paint.)

Any chance of a function like this? Something like an eyedropper with a dialogue that says, 'make this colour transparent on this layer'.

    Blue skies

If you've saved a 32 bit PNG with transparency, or a flattened PSD with transparency, the imported image (and reference, and tracing images) will respect that transparency.
