    I loved that movie, PD.

It's a really super effect you have going there. Very rich, sort of native, like painting on buck skins. . . or in a cave, despite the 1800s caricature coolie image and the very modern color in the paint.

I heard/read/watched (forgot my source) that the Native Americans have genetics traceable back to Asia, from the time of the land bridge or ice bridge or something they could have traversed between Russia and Alaska. And some stalwart Kon-tiki types could have sailed over the pacific on a boat of that primitive construction.

So this feels to me like riding different waves of immigration, as it were, juxtaposed in one image.

So for me this feels like it's in that kind of theme for me. Different waves from Asia.

Be that as it may, the technique is really good. I quite like the new, middle and old feeling all at once.

    Good work.

Many thanks for your keen comments re China Doll. I appreciate them and fully understand your interpretation. By the way, the information on man leaving Africa is part of a three part PBS series entitled. "Becoming Human." It is a great series.

Gotta go. Fixing up some primordial soup.
