    Water Lilly

    Tools Used:
Watercolour brush - Delicate on Dry
Palette Knife - Hard out Smudge and Hard Wet Blender
    Canvas - Watercolour Paper

The "Hard out Smudge" brings out the grain texture of the paper through the paint and the "Hard Wet Blender" blends the paints together to look as though the paint has run together while wet in wet.

Thanks guys, I was pleased with the result. Took me quite a while to do, but hopefully now that I have mastered the method, the next one will go quicker.

Margi, hello, yes, I agree, it is most useful when a bit of "how to do" is added to the finished piece, I know I get most value when I see people submit a painting and tell us how to do it and because of that, I am trying to do the same and pass on a bit of knowledge back.

pat1940, you are most welcome, I mainly put the tips down so it will help me remember, as well as trying to help others if they want to achieve the same look.

Thanks swansong and coops, I'm so pleased that you like it.
