    Lazy Winter Day

One I started as a sketch and finished in oils. Unable to be around much but hovering in and out.

There are no foot prints in the snow....does anyone live there now? Great painting Neal, and a little spooky with the big old house in the dead of winter.

I think such an approach was particularly successful too. I like very much this artpiece too. Your cold yellows and warm blues are contrasting wonderfully in the building!

Very fine image. You have this style knocked. I like it very much.

One comment about the ultramarine shadow on the house to the left -- it pulls the eye there owing to the saturation and it none of the rest of the shadows in the snow having the same color save for the more neutral one below by the fence. It yanks my eye to the edge of the picture because it's loud in this comparatively relaxed landscape. It's as if you are making a point out of the house's shadow for some unclear reason.

But I love the technique/style you have and this is a really wonderful painting of a town. It creates a very interesting mood.

Just enough time to say thanks all. I'm hoping to be able to fix some of the problems relating to the comments made and which I agree with. Pardon my grammar.
