Talking My New Game - Orcs Must Die!

I'm so excited, my company has just finished working on a new indie video game. It's called Orcs Must Die! It's an Action Defense game for Xbox and PC. The premise of the game is to prevent an army of Orcs from invading your world by defending the magical rifts. You can use weapons, spells, and most importantly traps.

I was a 3D Artist and Animator on this project.

Watch the interactive demo on YouTube to get and idea of the game, make sure Annotations are turned on.

Available on Xbox Live for 1200 Points and PC via Steam for $14.99. I urge everyone to try the FREE DEMO! The Xbox version is out now, and the PC version is available for pre-order and comes out Oct 12th.

There is no No Gore option, and it is available in 9 languages. Rated T for Teen.

Since this is an Art forum here is some of the art I helped my team create:

We completed the game in about a year. We're very excited it has been released.

I'm not a gamer myself, beyond the occasional game of Mahjong, but appreciate the use of technology and the mind boggling skill that it takes to produce a game like this. Congratulations on the artwork, I hope the game really takes off.

Great youtube demo! Having links for chosen scenarios -- brilliant. Sorta gets you to feel as if you're playing already.

Beautiful to look at. Cool bad guys, and allies and weapons.

    Well done indeed!

awesome artwork and looks like a fun game to play. It reminds me of the thrills of Centipede from a bygone era.

Thanks a bunch guys! This is probably my 12th published game, but this is the first game from a company I helped start a couple of years ago. We're a small company and word of mouth is our best marketing! So if you know a gamer pass the name along.

    Thanks again!
