Big Red, & Ode to Remington

These are a couple of pieces I did some time ago, but never posted. I was inspired to do so by Cartuneman's wonderful "Canyon View", but please Don't compare them
Big Red is appx 12x16 at 300 ppi, one layer
Ode to Remington is appx 15x16 at 200 ppi, 5 layers

They're really marvellous ones, made in an apparently effortless and natural way.

Skylar...I love Remington's works they are still amazing and these are nice tributes to his memory... I really like the trees in both works and the cowboy in his slicker in the bottom..

You Skylar and Cartunemann are two different bards of the same America. I hope, i do not compare anything when I say, it's poetry in canvas, what you both do.
