    Final Bow

Thanks to John Berry Photos of Deviant Art for his permission in painting a great musician, singer, and person Stevie Ray Vaughan. He titled his photo The Final Bow as this sadly was Stevie's final bow.

I didn't know what the colors were that he was wearing, but I imagined these colors. Also I used white in consideration of his presence and his passing.

I worked off and on for four days with this one. Oils and knife and John's excellent photograph of Stevie Ray.
    Thanks for looking.

Thank you dear Albert, it was a pleasure. Both in using this cool software and painting such a cool man.

A very intense painting where the hard job of living and the sense of loneliness are well expressed not only by the pose, but also by the rough and worn-out surface of the wall behind. Excellent!
