My first illustration done with ArtRage!

Hi, I'm new here and to ArtRage. I just bought the software after being introduced to it by a friend at work. I began my career as an artist working in traditional media such as gouache and ArtRage really brings me back to the joy of using real paint.

The thing with ArtRage that blows me away is that you don't have to struggle to achieve that painterly look, it comes natural in every stroke, so the texture and grit of the illustration is real, not added later.

Nice to see so many cool pictures here, clearly the intuitiveness of ArtRage unlocks a lot of creativity!

wow.. your talent from traditional media is quite evident and very substantial.. I have seen that traditional media artists seem to flourish quite well with the digital medium..and the ability to work and try things non destructively via layers and incorporate multi media tools opens a lot of doors. this is a great work I especially like the trees... and grasses... also big welcome and hope to see lots more from you in this forum

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT on so many levels. First for the sheer charm second for your obvious talent and third because I can relate to the story that you painted. It is so full of charm. Oh and welcome to Artrage, I am so looking forward to seeing more of your work

Welcome to the Artrage family Simon. What stunning and brilliantly executed work, looking forward to seeing many more

Isn't it great having no cleanup when you paint
