A couple of paintings, in different moods

Both were done on my iPad. First one's called Denizens, second one, for no particular reason, is called Lucky Boy.

I could easily see this in something like Eastern European animation, or wherever they do arty sort of emotion or concept animation where they don't have to do a fastidious sequence of frame by frame drawings that are later colored.

I always liked Giacometti with his elongated textural sculptures. Never though of it translating into color. I think it works very well. And you have really given it dimension and story. I definitely get two different, but pure, feelings from these.

    Very cool!

Hey, many thanks for the positive comments! I'm really just trying to learn how to do this art thing, so I paint whatever comes to mind. I mostly paint abstracts and only very recently have tried figures. Pretty intimidating, but satisfying when one works out.
