    Lilacs

    Lilacs are my favorite flower, I do miss not having lilac trees, done in watercolor

    Beautiful.Pat....it is so hard to paint with wc's and you are doing splendidly.

    I too love lilac.... we used to have a lot of lilac bushes as a hedge around the garden... but one grew into the huge tree, so old it was that it's inside rotted out and i as a little girl moved in that trunk to live there throughout the summer... uhm.... just loved the smell of it's flowers.

    Nicely done Pat I think I can smell them.
    These are one of my wife's favourite flowers, but alas our soil does not seem to suit growing them.
