    Smile Yawn WIP

Here is the rough sketch and beginning of my next cat drawing. This one is a little silly but that stupid yawning cat makes me laugh every time I look at it. So, of course I had to draw it! Hopefully I can apply some of what I have learned about drawing cats in this one.

Well I got a little distracted with my new tablet pc but I am still working on this! My Asus Eee Slate only has 256 levels of pressure so I am having to adjust (and relearn) my technique to get the same results as my Intuos.

Here is a little update (actually representing many hours of painstaking work lol). I switched to my Eee Slate and am getting used to the reduced pressure sensitivity. What do you guys think so far? I know the nose looks a little crooked here but I think it will make more sense in the final drawing.

Thank you! It does take lots of patience, but I like to work on it while doing other things to keep my mind occupied (like watching TV or listening to music), so it doesn't get too tedious. It's relaxing!
