    A Brian Tinsley

I was so impressed by this man's painting, Shiela did a painting of his and did it beautifully, if it hadn't been for that, I would not have seen this wonderful artist's works, so thanks Shiela, hope you like it, done in oil and knife, one layer

Pat... I think this is one of your best efforts... the colors are great and the brushwork with its little touches of detail in the trees and grass and water just right.. you left the color masses underneath to define the shapes and just added the right amount of details smaller stroked... really an inspired effort.

You keep surprising us every time you post new work.

This one is really good, maybe you should do a progressive tutorial of a piece like this so we can all learn your technique.

A beautiful gentle painting Pat, a wonderful place to stroll, think and just listen to the water. Well done

Copying the masters is a good thing indeed. A good way to grow and see things filtered through their eyes. Teaches us how to filter in different ways so our own process of analysis and our artistic bag of tricks begins to grow.

Nice job. The overall is really nice. And details will become more visible to you as you get more mileage painting. It all comes. And it's a super job that I enjoy looking at! More please!
