    Canyon Twilight

    This is a piece I started a few months ago, but got stuck as to where to take it. I looked at it again this morning, and there it was - the direction. Some times a second look really works. Fine Art Digital Painting in style of Impressionistic Oils on Canvas. From Scratch. 3 layers. Orig working size appx 8.5x16" at 200 ppi

    I like the colors and the play on light and shadow you have in this painting...
    Try to see as many angles of vision as possible...no single one of us has a "handle" on the whole picture.

    amazing play of light and color... so glad you took a second look and found the direction this need to go to complete it... amazing how that works... this is a beautiful painting.!

    A difficult volumetric image to paint. You did it in a very nice and beautifull way. Color here appears as a mere reference to light. Wonderful.
