Your signature placement is almost as if you want to be in the picture as well. . . which you are anyway. It's a bit like me and my horse are tight. A personal picture. Maybe even respectful in that were the signature on the shoulder, it might connote a brand. And in front of the nose, it would be like the horse was pointing to you. Tough call where it would go and it seems it's probably in the best place visually.

So interesting! Never thought about sigs this way. I made a vid of this painting, the process, and quickly put the sig there mid-filming without thinking. Thanks for your comments.

That's so true. I used to ride as a kid and started drawing horses way back then. I'm not around horses now but it's a love and fascination that's never left me so I translate it into digital and acrylic art. Thanks AT-TA
