This is my kind of stuff Pat...love the colors and the light play on this one
Try to see as many angles of vision as possible...no single one of us has a "handle" on the whole picture.

Nice Pat. I can see you playing with light, and it's cool along those curly twig things, whatever they're called.

Might be kinda cool to bounce a little light onto the back side of the base where presently it's black on black. It looks a little like there's a bit missing. . . although we can understand that it would be there. But it pulls a little away from the overall impact of the graceful lines you're going for. Just a faint contour either bounced light on the form or on the table in that place behind it (direct or reflection) to make it show up in silhouette.

An easy way to know which would work best is merely trying it out on a separate layer where you can play with transparency and all that.

But that's just a little side comment. It's quite satisfying to look at overall.

    Well done!

Thanks Steve, glad you like it
D Akey, thankyou so much for your advise, I am experimenting with light and your advise is welcome, so I do agree when I look at it again, that it should have a little light there to show the shape more on that side, appreciate so much that you pointed this out to me

I can reach out and almost feel the pottery, and I like the mysterious background.
