You got me again Skylar. I'm a big fan of buicks, dodges and the old America. Some of your pictures narrate about the lands and times in such detailed way.
I think without retrospective paintings like yours, there wasn't any complete and solid foundations to understand the todays world.
...It is how the timelessness of the poetic narration become artistic present.

lovely scene - "then or now?" for me your painting is showing both!

I like the background, telling a story about things having been built a long time ago but are still standing. the polarity of the everlasting sky and the automobile which is out of date, but its concept is still in use nowadays (I wonder how long though ...).

I like this a lot very well done!

skylar...an interesting juxtaposition of what appears to be skeletal steel works from skyscrapers and the old car... both from steel mills different eras.. the jagged chaos of the new.. and the smooth grace of the old... well done

Brilliant work Skylar, very well done, love the lighting and the car is perfect.
Just one question ... is it a 'Robber Baron' driving as they too seem to be alive and well in both time periods
