Sheesh, this gives me the creeps. The painting is well done, the spiders are a little too realistic.

thank you ^ _ ^ glad that you have scared hahaha
When I made the spiders I have not had much trouble ... but when I created the shadows under the spiders I began to get itchy anywhere (I hate spiders!).

misterpaint.... what a fantastic image... creepy, hyper real... a real master work ( as we have come to expect from your talented hand ).. The inclusion of spiders in an already intense subject triggers many emotions....... super job.

I predict you will win, and suggest that when you do to please release the judge's daughter.

It's great and messed up all at once.

I would perhaps rethink the area where she is breaking the surface of the water. It might help to exaggerate that a little. The form gets a little dodgy there to my eye. I understand that you are probably working from a photo, but she doesn't actually look like she is so far turned to see the dip under the arm and along the side of the breast there. And the shadow color in her armpit is perhaps too warm?

It probably wouldn't bother me were it not pretty much in the center of the pic. Because it's a relatively un-rendered area and somewhat large, it's stealing a little focus from the important parts a little, like the face and so forth.

But all else is well constructed and rendered. I love the drama. The mascara is brilliant. Her acting expression is really great. Nice staging and idea. The spiders exaggerate it into the area of Halloween fun.

Well done. You always amaze me with your energy and complete art experience. Bravo!
