    pat .... a most excellent effort... I like the range of tones and colors...I have to ask about the "frame" this looks almost like a photo of your framed work!.... interesting effect.

    A fantastic painting that is rich with color, tones and hues...I like it a lot
    Try to see as many angles of vision as possible...no single one of us has a "handle" on the whole picture.

    How warm is this! Wow!

    With those wonderfully warm and rich golds, the lighting and shadow, and that red, it feels like a walk of sentiment and heart, the road one takes when reminiscing on things loved. It's as if those moments receive tribute like a golden anniversary. I think it also is re-enforced because of the softly defined atmospheric parts surrounding a focal point.

    This far and away is my favorite of yours, Pat. Really first rate. Brava!
