    Conan, The Barbarian

Altho based on the new character played by Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones, Stargate Atlantis) This is not a portrait, rather my impression of him. 2 layers. Orig size appx 9x12" at 300 ppi.

Fantastic job Skylar... After seeing Game of Thrones I think Jason is the perfect pick for the Conan remake

This is an excellent painting !!!
Try to see as many angles of vision as possible...no single one of us has a "handle" on the whole picture.

Skylar....wow great work... especially on the hair and eyes... and expression. Just a question for you.. the background appears to be in bright sunlight and in the lower left looks white on my monitor.. while the figure is almost in shadow although he has bright highlight on his shoulder and reflected light on the chest.. or in photoshop or camera terms the background has blown out highlights.... I am not following why you did that....to make the figure which is light stand out more ??..the hair hanging into that white area is high contrast and jumps forward. ?? not a criticism just a curious mind..
