    Saying I Do

A quick pen and watercolor of a special day almost twenty five years ago when we said I do. Next week will be our silver anniversary.
We did not want a wedding, just a simple ceremony. We were married by a Judge our friend with our family present and later celebrated with a small get together.
I regret that we didn't take a honeymoon. We both had our work, and were not able to take time off. Oh well...there is always that some day.
We started a family four years later and you know how it is. That is when life really becomes hard, haha, but kids, I don't know, through all of the ups and downs, sorrows and sadness, they can bring a joy like no other.
    Anyway folks, we made it.

Happy anniversary and a very fine painting to commemorate that...
Try to see as many angles of vision as possible...no single one of us has a "handle" on the whole picture.

Congratulations for Your silver anniversary! I'm still little less than 7 years away, but I already got a lot of silver on my hair.
It's very hard in these days to find people whose commitment last long enough and a clear indication of the personal value of You two to give a real, concrete and serious sense to an abused word like love, and to what becoming parents means, an uncomparable gift to anything else which takes the greatest of the responsibilities and has to be deserved every day though!
