    J Waterhouse (copy) Cupid's Garden

Several months ago Caesar sent me this website of J. Waterhouse painting and I was so impressed with his work, one of my favorites is this one, I was really hesitant to paint it, but finally I thought, what the heck if I don't do it how will I know if I can, so here it is and Caesar thanks for the site and I really hope you like it, my one regret is that I wished I had done it in oil, it is done in chalk and when it is larger you can see those darn white pinholes, even tho I blended as much as I could

Nicely done Pat. It must have been a difficult study to take on, for sure.

And just as a tip: If your trying to get a completely smooth blend going with the Chalk or Crayon tools, I'd suggest turning your Layer Textures Roughness option down to 0%. It should remove all of the breaks.
Nothing is easy to the unwilling.

Very well done Pat, you just keep getting better and better. A suggestion: If you want to use chalk or crayon's try using the cel canvas under "special." Then you will get a totally smooth painting.
Try to see as many angles of vision as possible...no single one of us has a "handle" on the whole picture.
