    My great- grandfather

    This is my great-grandfather in 1916. Oil, knife and two layers. Hope you like it

    Hi, Tom.

    He would have been so pleased with this portrait of him. This is classical beauty ...he looks so alive...love the hues a lot. Hope he did survive and had a happy live.

    only two layers? wow!
    I bet your painting looks better than the old photograph you must have used as a reference .. the eyes are amazing
