    Books, brandy and a yellow rose

    This was inspired by my friend, Dal Windberg's classic painting. I took his idea of the snifter & rose, and did my version of it - adding a few touches as I went. 100% Fine Art Digital Painting. In 4 layers. In the style of Oils on canvas. Orig size appx 12x16" at 300 ppi

    This is so beautiful Skylar, dont know which part I like best from the rose to the glass, from the book to the background its all perfect

    I love these detailed 'snap shots' of the reality which surrounds us in the closed environment. For me it's not only still life. It express kind of indispensable distance to the surreal madness of the outer world...
