Peter, I'm seeing a story here.
    There was a great battle.
The big toothed cats wanted this cave.
The men fought with what tools they had but were finally overcome from Saber's vicious speed and natural weapons.
Mankind escaped through a secret narrow passage deep within the cave so coveted for its healthy mineralized pools and warmth during the harsh winters.
They vowed they would return with greater numbers and better weapons.
Sadly this would never take place.
The planet would be turned on its axis with meteors crashing onto its fertile surface causing cataclysmic changes in the weather and the surface of the lands.
The Sabertoothed cats and many of the mammals on earth would not survive only leaving behind reminders of their great existence. A tooth here, a claw there.
Man on the other hand survived leaving their mark of the artful mind on many caves around this huge planet.
Sorry...imagination gets away from me some times.

This is brilliant Peter and I too like Sandy's story. I see a warrior in the bottom left and oh my gosh so much more
Sometimes...I remember better with my eyes closed
