    Nicely done, well painted, I guess one could only judge it from a literary point of view if one knew the story line of the book.

    Amanda - what a fantastic image for barnburners book!.... very well done...I have no end of admiration for someone who can paint people and in this case give life to the characters we have been following in the book...

    You've really got a knack for this type of illustration, dear Amanda!
    A quite intense moment where these two wounded protagonists are romantically entangled like a tree and the ivy. It's a really touching scene. She's touching his star and ...I cannot see what the sheriff right hand is actually touching. It's the only upper limb missing. I also hope the overflying sparrow didn't eat a California plum ...
