    That is so lovely simple and yet so effective.
    I like how one's eye is drawn into the painting and onto the lone figure riding away. Very nice brush strokes

    Very atmospheric landscape with some life, which doesn't distract from the subject. Nice effect You have achieved.
    I compared this painting with the older version in the gallery. It's much richer now IMO.

    Katie - this is such a rich oil painting quality with the thickness of the brush strokes and the broken color effect adding to it .. the lone figure gives a sense of solitude and grandeur... love this!!!

    I like it very much! It's excellent both as subject and execution.
    I always wished to paint at least decently with thicker strokes or even impasto with AR, but it really requires a great talent ...
