    Garden Wall Gnomes

This is part of a slightly larger painting I've been working on. Still may do more work on it after finishing other projects. Used airbrush, oil, glitter tool and knife and tons of layers!

This detail is so much lovely and interesting I'm really curious to see in the future how the whole painting looks like.
Recently I started adding some layers in a few cases (from 2 to no more than 5) to my paintings too, but I often mess them up because of my poor pre-planning and diligence to keep them separate, so I really wonder how You manage tons of them ...
    Panta rei (everything flows)!

Caesar--thank you! Using layers definitely takes planning! To keep from confusing myself too much, I merge layers when I feel they are completed. The wall was 3 layers and when I felt they were done, I merged them into one. I also enlarged the image to 300% to work on the gnomes.

Nicely done and I really like the texture of the wall...
Try to see as many angles of vision as possible...no single one of us has a "handle" on the whole picture.
