You seem to be in a sort of Zen mode lately, Rick, sort of like your approach has become simpler and more introspective. This is a fine, fine piece! Thanks for sharing!

This view doesn't seem of this world, so luminous and perfect!

Love the colors and texture of this painting...another very fine work of art
Try to see as many angles of vision as possible...no single one of us has a "handle" on the whole picture.

    Way to go Rick!

A visual metaphor, cause for me, in addition to the wonderful attention to the grass and so on, which is brilliant, I can really run with the relationship between the title and the 'figure' in the painting. It really feels like reflecting, in which in those quiet times, a memory comes in and sort of dips and bends. And then suddenly it takes root as it were and the branches and leaves begin growing out of it, taking on a life of its own. Many a time I have had a memory or reflection, if you will, begin sprouting as if it were happening again, sometimes with a new outcome, sometimes not. But it manages to shove the present right over.

Very cool. Nice use of your rendering skills!
