    OverSeeing

This bit of Fantasy Art is from following Mannafig's excellent tuturial on using the pencil.
I used pencil, Pallet knife, eraser and some stickers for the rocks and trees.

Very well done...I like this drawing :-)
Try to see as many angles of vision as possible...no single one of us has a "handle" on the whole picture.

    Marvellous scene indeed.
The Moon and Pierrot who usually plays a melancholy song under the that sphere are merged into one here! This interpretation could be enhanced should a tear flow down from one of the eyes ...
    Panta rei (everything flows)!

Thank you for your very kind comments. Caesar, I think a teardrop would be a great addition thank you for the sugestion. Unfortunately I am away at the moment and on my Ipad. I think the size of the file is to big to open in the Ipad version of ArtRage, I will have a go when I get back next Tuesday.

Mannafig, how could I not have a go with the pencil after your excellent tuturial, in AR i didn't realise that the pencil, palette knife and eraser could be used this way. I started of with the ball and then did a filled in black oval using the palette knife and eraser I started to see a face so continued. What is so strange, the likeness of the features are of my daughter, it started off as just practice with the pencil and before I knew it I was doing a drawing from my imagination. That's something I have never been able to do I alway's have to have a reference picture otherwise I stare at a blank canvas. I have been working on a black & white portrait of my daughter and her husband using the airbrush, the portrait must have been on my mind when I did the face. I might redo the family portrait as its much easier using pencil rather than using the airbrush. Thank you again for the great lesson.
