    Sculpture

I thought I would try my hand at an abstract. Sculpture is the name that came to mind. Went for a Triad color scheme with a complementary Orange.

This is a really nice painting, almost in the Metaphysical style of Giorgio De Chirico and with the palette of Renato Guttuso.
    Panta rei (everything flows)!

Neal.... guess I missed seeing this yesterday.... but I like this..It has your touch with the handling of the brush and although you kept to a simple color scheme the range of tones and contrasts make it... the interesting volumetric forms flow to make this a very nice piece...

    Looking good,
I especially like the variations of the background blue,
making it appear to be an outside sculpture, moving with the wind.

    jibes,
Even though the "Sculpture" seems restricted by tethers, there is a
contradictory vibrant flow of energy to it's substance ... what might
be imagined as a song to be played that, even though the printed
notes are confined to a music sheet, could move to it's own rhythm
beyond the page by the musician or singer. Spirited yet sensitive ...
    just love this!

When looking at this Jibes it brings to mind the restrictions of a dancer maybe outside influences or by the limit of their talent but there is no restriction to your talent as this painting shows. Good work Jibes
Sometimes...I remember better with my eyes closed
