    RomanicChurchWIP (with second step)

From a reference using crayons and training on them. I used the mouse only at the moment. No tracing or color picking.
One layer only, this far at least.

Appears to be coming along well...look forward to the finished painting
Try to see as many angles of vision as possible...no single one of us has a "handle" on the whole picture.

Dear Semd74, it's only the start and a good practising place to see how to get the most different effects out of the crayons. I don't have a precise procedure and planning, although proceeding like with real pastels, more than one layer, may be a possibility for getting late on a more intriguing "brushwork" effect.
    Thank You.

  4. I love the loose, tactile feel of this, Caesar.

That's an advantage of crayons, dear mate, and it's worthwhile to exploit it.

Hope I may convey some of the feelings it provides and its poetry, dear Sandra. I should resume it after my last couple of quick portraits ...
It's Noogins' fault if I decided to use crayons after so much time.

I can see that this is going to be a very good one as usual dear Caesar. Waiting to see the finished product.

OK, here's another step always on the same layer (I'm afraid it would take to long to plan on more than present one or maybe two layers ...).
