    Wonderful use of crayon here.
    The horses are very well done and with right proportions.
    I concur on the fact that a black background is often a most appropriate one, also for bright and luminous days and especially for making vivid colors pop out brightly.

    Try to see as many angles of vision as possible...no single one of us has a "handle" on the whole picture.
