    Momento.

    hi there.... this is to wish u all a merry christmas and a very happy new year.
    i painted this from life, from some souvenir that i have and a couple of references were merely consulted aswell. i did visualize the composition and the mood.
    painted in artrage and some final tweaking in photoshop - using tablet.

    You've captured the way the glazing tends toward sepia tones (in the indirect lighting at the sides of the vase) when it's very old. That coupled with the style of the vase definitely makes it feel like an old family heirloom.
