    An illustration of our village.

Hello, I originally joined these forums a couple of years ago when I got interested in learning art but I lost interest. So last september I started art classes in my local hospital as part of an art therapy group. I take a lot of photographs but this is my new hobby. I drew this tonight in about two and a half hours, it's from a photo of our village. I am still learning so please let me know if you like it.

definitely keep at it Gordon. something very wonderful about those houses that look so small in the distance. yet the placement and perspective seems very real and believable. I like the way you made color blends with the different colors just like real colored pencil. I like your pencil works. look forward to more.

There's a quite interesting artistic sensitivity in this drawing which looks a pleasant one.
I really think Your natural talent deserves a chance to fully emerge and get confident by appropriate practice and learning loops.
    Panta rei (everything flows)!
