    Bobbi, this is a fine piece of work, wonderfully constructed and I particularly like the muted tones and colors.... very well done

    Thank you all for your kind comments. I have been working at making canvases and then using the water color brush and the gloop pen and the roller to get textures and other effects. The water color and gloop pen especially are wonderful to work with on the different textures. The paint, because it is so fluid, will seek the lines and crevices of the canvas. The grain is key to most of it. The size and roughness of the grain can determine the outcome. Try it to see what you can come up with. Only down size is that you end up playing so much that you forget what time it is. Might be good for losing weight though because meal time can come and go and you don't even miss it.
