    Smile Eggplant

... today I fired up AR 2.5 (which is the version I was using back in 2007 when I discovered ArtRage, but didn't use for a long long time) just to check the behaviour of the oil brush .. so I painted some strokes, and they looked like bubbles

I thought they were nice, so I saved the file, opened it up in AR 3.0.8 Studio Pro and had fun doodling around with those bubbles
as usual, after a while I was lost in thousands of layers with different blend modes etc, and I decided to call this painting "finished"

so here it is - it doesn't look like bubbles anymore, so I call it "Eggplant"

I hope you like it - I appreciate your comments and critics

It's like a...bubble plant - a plant that grows long-stem flowers where in the petals resemble bubbles. I want one.

    thank you Alexandra
thank you Muir at some point I thought that I should enlarge the canvas to add a long green stem, but I was too tired so I left it as it is.

Great designs!! Didn't get the Eggplant angle though.
I liked AR2 better because of it's speed just like an earlier version of Painter. AR3 is much slower but has some great features I would miss and so I use it.

thank you for your nice comments, coops, sabena, mannafig, gxhpainter, jibes

re: AR2/AR3 ~ when I was looking through my old paintings (created in 2007 using AR2) I noticed that my strokes were much more "painterly" than today (using AR3 Studio Pro). I wondered why ... back then I was using my mouse (I hate using mouse to paint!) ... now I'm the proud owner of a Wacom tablet
but after checking out AR2 using tablet + pen, I still get the feeling that my strokes somehow look more "ethereal" than with AR3

anyways, I love AR3 and all its features
