    Excellent painting..
I quit after 40 years of smoking. No doubt about it, it's tough, but, it's well worth doing. I've never regretted quitting for a moment. Anybody can do it. It just takes a 100% commitment to NEVER touch one again, under any circumstances, no matter what happens in your life.
My best friend and brother-in-law claimed he just couldn't quit. He tried the patches, gum,etc...nothing would work for him (nothing will - you have to do it yourself) Then came the day that the doctor told him he had lung cancer. He walked out of the office and threw his cigarettes in the trash, and never touched one again. Unfortunately a year later, the disease killed him. Anybody can quit - it's just a matter of motivation. You either want to, or you don't. Anything less than a 100% decision will fail, because you will always find an excuse to smoke one again, and it only takes one.
