Thread: Canvas zoom widget and 'D' key equiv

Canvas zoom widget and 'D' key equiv

I know we can use fingers to zoom the canvas but it would be nice if we also had a canvas zoom widget (above), because if you're holding the iPad in one hand and a stylus in the other it sometimes breaks the flow to change the way you hold the stylus in order to pinch in/out. It may be better to just continue using a stylus for canvas zoom operations. Also related - a button which when pressed returns the canvas to full screen as the 'D' key does on AR desktop.
Just small things mainly to accommodate stylus use, though I confess they're not deal breakers.

I've got my eye on some possible UI adjustments that might support stylus use a bit better. Can't say anything yet, but I'm looking at alternatives! The Two-Finger tap gesture is the current 'D' key equivalent, but I can see how that might break the flow a bit when using a stylus too.

He's got great point, I use a stylus too... I know you don't think I'm watching or paying attention. BUT I am.... Looking forward to your next incarnation.

But after all is said and done the one I use 24/7 is the shape dad one,

He's got a new one that I should be getting very soon, and the reason I think I'll like it better is that I prefer an 8.5 inch shaft.

I just prefer how the material slides better than foam or rubber (both can wear out faster than the material I think - I've had 2 boxwaves go bad!)

Thanks Susan, very useful to read. I have a Boxwave at the moment which Is so much better than anything else I've tried - more resonsive also I think because the real pen gives it more weight. I understand Wacom are bringing one out this month too, should be worth a go.

Hey my bamboo one just arrived. Better than anything I've got. Better than boxwave (which ultimately dies because the rubber is unfused with some kind of oil.) I will agree the boxwave is great for pocket, an travel. But if you have an extra 20 I think you'd like the eco stylus. (NO he doesn't pay me! LOL!)

And I'm sure wacom will be terrific too.
