jonwood - fantastic representation of Tina , not so much in the accuracy but in the mood and spirit of her... love the composition and colors.

Great caricature. . . if caricature is the right word. I love the expression. Very theatrical promotion. Way back in the days of illustrators and TV Guide covers, this reminds me a lot of Amsel's portrait of Lucille Ball there.

Not in style exactly, even though you are featuring similar parts of the face, but in that it also captures an attitude very well indeed. She is alive, this face.

You´ve definitely captured her here, jonwood! I saw her once when it was still the Ike and Tina Turner Review. It was incredible, and even more so because it was a small college venue with no more than 250 people.

A great entertainer and a very fine portrait
Try to see as many angles of vision as possible...no single one of us has a "handle" on the whole picture.

Black and Fire; a perfect choose to reflect her personality.

In order to change the title of the thread I do as follows: go to the end of the first post and press the "edit" button; then you can change the title in the opened window an save. Hope this helps.
