This is the first Rose I have painted from our new home's yard in Costa Rica. We now live about 3000 ft. up the mountain from San Jose, in the Central Valley. A perfect place for flowers and birds - of which, there are Droves. 100% Fine art digital from scratch. In style of oils on canvas. Orig working size was appx 3600x3000 pxl at 300 ppi. 2 layers. (Appx.10x12")

Skylar - excellent job, the slight hint of canvas texture while you maintained the delicacy of the rose and its colors are suberb! Sounds like your in a beautiful environment

A delightful painting, keeping the delicateness of the petals so well.

I'm speechless, such a beautiful painting!
I like the blue color on the petals, and the single droplet which is trying to hide between the petals, very nice!

GHX, Limey, Pat, Bobby, Coops, MSIE - Thank you all for the wonderful comments.
As you can see, we have made the move to C.R. Much more difficult than I imagined.
I'm just now settling into the new house. Have already decided to move the studio to the second floor rear (more windows).
