Simple Landscape - Mountain and Pine

After studying a recent landscape by Waheed Nasir " Nature - untainted" I wanted to see how he got just great brush strokes and texture.. I learned a lot but missed being able to duplicate any of his great brush work. This was a 20 minute sketch...

I don't think there are many could attain to the brush work of Waheed, but
this is sure a lovely piece of art on its own merit.

Your outside of the box pieces are so unique. When I see your name in the Gallery I say, Oh! What is he up to know. And you never let me down.

gz and pd thanks so much for the kind comments. GZ you are right that not many can bring out the brush work of Waheed but it is a fun challenge to try to get there. Being a amateur with little formal training , I learn best by looking at others works and i am learning a lot from this forum..
